Roughly 3,000 people with and
without disabilities gathered on the White House South Lawn on the
morning of July 26, 1990, to watch President George Bush sign the
Americans with Disabilities Act
into law. Join John Wodatch, Chief Disability Rights Section, US
Department of Justice, and Sharon Renert, Attorney Advisor, US Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), as they speak and provide us
with an update regarding their policy initiative and enforcement efforts
around the ADA. Hear the status of recent decisions by the US Supreme
Court and there impact on the ADA, 15 years after it was enacted.
