Description

Wheelchair Rugby was developed in Canada.  Initially an activity to help people who are quadriplegic build upper body strength, it is now an international sport. If you saw the award winning movie, Murderball, you know it’s a high energy, aggressive sport. 

Ed Suhr, Portland Pounds, is a coach for the USA Paralympics team.  Two of the Portland Pounders’ players and members of the other teams qualified for the Paralympics.
