Project SEARCH
The
Board of Directors of the OBLN recognizes Project SEARCH as a
model of excellence for integrating the talents of people with
significant disabilities into the mainstream workforce.
Project SEARCH is a unique business-led program that provides employment
and education opportunities for individuals with significant
disabilities. The program is dedicated to workforce development that
benefits the individual, community and workplace.
Programs include one-year, worksite-based school-to-work programs for
high school students with disabilities and comprehensive employment, job
retention, and career advancement services for adults with disabilities.

"We have discovered the incredible value, on many levels, of
hiring people with significant disabilities."
